Hotel Amic Can Pastilla

We spent 5 nights in Hotel Amic, and it was our first time on the island. One thing we loved about our stay was the hotel's proximity to both Palma and the airport. As we arrived at night and had a return flight at 6 pm, the location was perfect for us. Can Pastilla had everything we needed - a peaceful atmosphere at night, a laid-back vibe during the day, and in May, it wasn't overcrowded. Although the hotel was clean and satisfactory for us, if you're someone who enjoys luxurious accommodations, a pool, or watching Netflix on a Smart TV during your holidays, this might not be the right fit for you :) I must mention that we were grateful for the receptionist's assistance in booking a taxi to the airport :) + Cleanliness + 24/7 reception + Close proximity to Palma + 150 m from the sea/beach

The hotel is a short walk (3mins) from the seafront. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are very large and nore beds than booking.com show, we had 12 bed spaces for 5 people, with separate rooms, like 1-2bed apartments. The rooms were basic but clean. There were lifts but small. The hotel section we were in was across the road in a separate hotel. 24 hr reception and the staff open up the gate beyond 11pm to get you in that building. The rooms had also hot a small kitchen area and living space with table and chairs.

I can't relate to any of the bad reviews here :) as my experience with the hotel was really very positive. We got a very spacious room with a kitchenette and a balcony on the top floor. Everything was very clean, the furniture is indeed very basic but it's all good and exactly as expected. A modern flat screen TV on the wall. Easy check-in and check-out, a 24h reception, a friendly and professional staff. It's super close to the airport, 30min by foot which is very efficient in case of a very early flight. We didnt need any aircon this time of year so can't comment on that. Overall, the quality exceeded my expectations about a rather cheap hotel with not so great reviews :) We felt there safe and cosy, it was a quiet and comfortable stay. I think it's great value for money and I definitely would stay there again.

I must say that after reading some of the negative comments, I wonder if we stayed in the same hotel? We stayed in Room 312, the room was partly renovated. The housekeeping staff ensured our room was cleaned daily, providing fresh towels and new bedding throughout our stay. The bathroom has a bathtub, it didn't pose any major inconvenience. Additionally, there was a small fridge in the room. Moreover, I must commend the kind hotel staff. When we encountered a minor issue with the gas station, they promptly offered us a phone to make the necessary calls. As for breakfast, it was served at the Amic Gala Hotel, which was a mere 150 meters away from Amic Can Pastilla. The breakfasts were delightful, with a wide selection of delicious food. In terms of parking, it's worth noting that parking around the hotel is available but at your own risk. However, the hotel also offers their free private parking option, located 500 meters away, as parking in Can Pastilla can be a challenge. We arrived earlier than expected, and the staff made every effort to accommodate us as soon as possible. In conclusion, based on our pleasant experience, I highly recommend this hotel to others seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was at a neighbouring hotel, but was good and worth the short walk. The hotel was quiet and the location fine for us as we were only there for one night.
